Everything Cookies
Garrison and I recently visited Montana while Alan was
traveling for work. A trip to Montana wouldn't be complete without a visit to
Granny Gragg's house. While there, Granny served us these amazing cookies. The
recipe is originally from the TV show The Pioneer Woman. (In case you are
curious, as I was, Hyacinth is Ree Drummond's friend on the show.)
Hyacinth's Everything Cookies
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- 4 whole Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 4 1/4 cups Flour
- 4 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/3 cup Quick Oats
- 3 cups Quaker Granola (oats And Honey, Yellow Box)
- 1 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
- 1 1/2 cup Cran-raisins
- 1 1/2 cup Apricots
Directions:
- Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Next add flour, baking soda, and salt. Add in oatmeal and granola. Fold in pecans and other ingredients.
- With cookie scoop or two spoons, drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
- Note: This cookie will look like it is still raw at 10 minutes, however, it will harden when cooling. If you overcook it will turn hard like a granola bar. I have had them both ways and enjoy both so it will be personal preference on how long you will bake them for :) You can also substitute and/or add dried mangos.
